I’m thinking about sitting my PMI-ACP exam online with the proctored system but it’s completely new to me, how does it work, what do I need?
Throughout the pandemic, project practitioners have continued their learning with virtual courses, self-study, and eLearning. With all those different and easily accessible ways of learning it’s highly likely you already have the equipment for taking an online proctored exam.
You only need a camera, microphone, a quiet space, and a decent internet connection to schedule and take your exam.
It can feel slightly strange to have someone watch whilst you sit your exam but you soon forget about that as you concentrate on the exam itself. You’ll need to be able to show the proctor the space you’re in (with the camera) and if there are any technical problems your proctor will help resolve them and you’re able to set up the system well in advance of your exam so you’re all set to go when the time is right.
There have been a lot of converts to the online exams during the pandemic, when you try it out you’ll wonder why you ever made the trip to the test center!
